Not yet named but programmed to be open by March 2010, this PGA designed golf course will make your Paphos - Cyprus golfing holiday stay at the villa Hieros Kepos ideal for your days out golfing whilst your wives can laze in the glorious Cyprus sunshine by the side of the villas private swimming pool.

All players must be 16 years and over, be able to produce a current handicap certificate and have a maximum golf handicap for a gentleman of 28 and 36 for ladies.  Players without a golfing handicap certificate will be allowed to play the courses after 12.00 o'clock.  Cyprus golfing dress codes are strictly enforced and most importantly includes that; No denim jeans. No swimwear. No shorts other than tailored knee length shorts. No T-Shirts. Mens shirts must have a collar and long or short sleeves. Ladies must have shirt collars but will be allowed short sleeves.  All players to wear golfing shoes with soft spikes. No trainers will be allowed.

Besides the top quality of these golf clubs courses, the enviable climate enables golfers to enjoy the warmth of the Mediterranean sunshine throughout the year. In terms of building a reputation as a quality golfing destination alongside Golf in Spain or Golf in Portugal, Cyprus golf breaks is currently doing very well, and being not too far to travel, a winter golf breaks makes these courses ideal for your golf holidays.

Golf Clubs - Golf Courses: Aphrodite Hills - Par 71 - 6,855 yards
Opened in October 2002 the Aphrodite Hills is a superb golf clubs and course, built to PGA championship standard. Designed by Cabell Robinson, the course is built on two plateaux, separated by a dramatic ravine and enjoys spectacular views of the sea and coast. The mix is perfect, with pot bunkers, generous fairways and large tiered greens. Situated just 20 minutes from Paphos seafront, 20 minutes from the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, 20 minutes from the golf holiday villa Hieros Kepos.

18 holes, Par is 71, walk distance is 6855 metres, this new golf course is carved out of groves of carob and olive trees on two high plateaux divided by a ravine, the course overlooks the Mediterranean sea with all but a few holes enjoying superb sea and coastal views. Designed by world-renowned Cabell Robinson, the course harmonises beautifully with the natural landscape and environment of the surrounding area. Fairways are generously wide off the tee with large 'sculpted' bunkers and contoured or sloped greens. The spectacular par three 7th hole is destined to be much talked about! It plays steeply downhill with a 30m drop across a canyon ravine, requiring careful club selection, to a large undulating green nestling within a grove of olive trees. A long winding cart path takes one down to the green and then up out of the canyon for added thrills!

The golf course clubhouse incorporates a bar and restaurant, with extensive terraces offering spectacular views, locker rooms with bag storage and valet service, and a well-stocked golf shop. Caters for private parties dinners, corporate events & wedding celebrations. Also on offer is a three-hole academy, 350m double-ended driving range and short game practice facilities, 4 target greens with bunkers, 3 academy holes. Two resident professional golf instructors offering lessons and group clinics available 7 days a week upon advanced requests. Shoe and club hire is available; golf buggies are essential.

Golf Clubs - Golf Courses: Tsada - Minthis Hills Golf Club - Par 72 - 6,830 yards
Designed by Donald Steel, Tsada Golf Club Course now known as Minthis Hills nestles among vineyards next to a 12th century monastery. It is situated 20 km from Paphos overlooking the Mediterranean and cooled by gentle sea breezes in the summer. Tsada - Minthis Hills offers a challenging and enjoyable round of golf in beautiful surroundings and an excellent clubhouse with first class facilities

Tsada Golf Clubs: is 18 holes, Par is 72, walk distance is 6830 metres, the first grass golf course to be developed in Cyprus, completed in April 1994. Located 20 minutes from the town of Paphos, Tasada Golf Club changed its name to Minthis Hills Golf Club and is a superb PGA championship standard golf club set in the grounds of a 12th century monastery. Designed by Donald Steel, this was the first grass course to be built in Cyprus in 1994 and it sits 550 metres above sea level, ensuring cool breezes during the summer months.

Practice facilities including driving range, 2 putting greens, a pitching/chipping area, practice bunkers. Golf clinics available; pro-shop. Elegant golf course clubhouse with restaurant, bar, ladies and gents changing rooms with showers. Tennis courts and outdoor swimming pool for those relaxing hours after that glorious game of golf, or for the spouse who may not wish to take in a round of golf and stay behind at the club house for a total relaxing day.

Players without handicap certificate can play after 12 noon on request, according to availability Guidance and tuition is obtainable through the Pro Shop, given by the local PGA professional. Golf Clubs - Golf Courses: Secret Valley - Par 72 - 6,737 yards
Situated in a spectacularly scenic valley just 20 minutes from Paphos seafront, 20 minutes from the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, 20 minutes from the golf holiday villa Hieros Kepos. The Secret Valley golf course was opened in 1996 and was designed to be a PGA championship standard course. The fairways are surrounded by mature trees and dramatic rock formations. The rustic clubhouse has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly personnel.

Secret Valley Golf Club is a panoramic course which is great fun from start to finish. Most of its holes meander through the scenic valley granting a wonderful, picture-friendly backdrop. 18 km east of Paphos, near to "Petra tou Rominou" the legendary birthplace of "Aphrodite" the Greek Goddess of Love. Only 15-20 minutes drive from Pissouri and Paphos, lying in a beautiful scenic valley dotted with grand trees, and surrounded by natural rock formations, the Secret Valley Golf Course will test all your skills and technique, just over 6700 metres to par 72.

The front nine, over 3225 metres, offer four warm-up holes, two opportunities for a birdie, and an easy dog-leg - if you know how !  The back nine, over 3512 metres, gives you no warm-up holes - the 18th at par 5 over 515 metres finishes with what appear to be lakes on the back side of the green.  The golf course clubhouse has a well stocked Golf Pro-shop, a bar and restaurant. Practice facilities include putting greens and chipping area.
